VAN BUREN - The Van Buren Chamber Governmental Affairs Committee is proud to present the third annual Dishin’ Up Democracy dinner on November 8.
Open to Chamber members and the community-at-large, the event will feature Arkansas Lieutenant Governor Tim Griffin as the keynote speaker. In addition to Lt. Governor Griffin, the boots and blue jeans-style dinner will welcome a number of other regional representatives and community leaders. Dishin’ will be reminiscent of an old-fashioned gathering, complete with live music and traditional favorites such as catfish, chicken and all the fixins’.
Dishin’ will be held at the Farmer’s Cooperative Warehouse, located at 810 South 28th Street in Van Buren. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner to begin at 6 p.m. Seats are $25 and include dinner and drinks. Chamber members are encouraged to extend this invitation to their friends, family, customers and clients.
Reservations can be made over the phone using a credit card. Guests will check in at the door for their seating location. For more information, contact the Chamber at (479) 474-2761 or email Janie Simmons at Janie@VanBurenChamber.org.
