FORT SMITH - The Fort Smith Police Department announced Thursday that they will hold a ceremony to promote several officers to the rank of sergeant next week.
According to a release, Corporal Robert Schibbelhut, Corporal Lee McCabe, Corporal Jeff Carter, Corporal Anthony Parkinson, Officer Steven Krumm, Corporal Wendell Sampson, and Corporal Scott Jackson will all be honored at the November 9th ceremony.
The event will be held at the River Park Pavilion, 100 North B Street, at 6:00 PM.
The public is invited to attend.
