DALLAS - Just two days after parting ways with the Dallas Cowboys, Darren McFadden has announced that he will retire from the NFL.
“I have been extremely privileged to play in the League a long time and now that time for me is done,” he said in a statement Tuesday.
At age 30, the Razorback great says that he would like to spend more time with his family.
“I just want to say that I make this decision not with sadness or without further opportunity, but with a couple of days to reflect on how I feel and where I am at this stage of life,” McFadden noted. “I know that this is the right move for me.”
The North Little Rock native played in 103 games at the professional level.
