FORT SMITH- the Sebastian County Sheriff’s office reports that investigators, in conjunction with the Fort Smith Police Department and Arkansas Community Corrections made an arrest that involved the seizure of large amounts of multiple illicit substances.
One ounce of methamphetamine, two ounces of ecstasy, and approximately one pound or marijuana were seized during the arrest.
Investigators were acting on a tip received by the department according to Cpt. Pevehouse with the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office.
Police arrested Eric Britt on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Firearms, First Degree Endangering the welfare of a Minor, and a Parole Violation.
A 17 year old juvenile female was also arrested on the same charges during the incident.
An infant child was also located in the residence during the arrest and taken into DHS Custody.
Britt is being held at the Sebastian County Detention Center on a $42,500 bond.
