UPDATE (9:00 PM) - Corporal Anthony Rice with the Fort Smith Police Department reports that Nathan Kain has been found safe
FORT SMITH - Investigators with the Fort Smith Police Department are dealing with their second missing person case in just as many days. Public Information Officer Corporal Anthony Rice said Saturday that they are looking for 22-year-old Nathan Kain, who reportedly suffers from several impairments.
“On December 1st, 2017, the care taker for Nathan Kain reported him as missing. According to the caretaker Nathan has been diagnosed with several mental disabilities and has the mental capacity of a 9 year old.” Rice said in a release. “Nathan was last seen leaving his residence in the 1200 block of North 15th Street on Friday, December 01, 2017. Nathan reportedly left on foot and was last seen wearing a grey hoody, blue jeans, brown dress shoes, and possibly has a hat on. Nathan reportedly searches out places with free WI-FI so he can use a tablet.”
