FORT SMITH- Wind chills are expected to drop to dangerous lows in the region according to a forecast from the National Weather Service in Tulsa.
Wind chills in Fort Smith are predicted to drop to between 10 and 15 degrees tonight with Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Wind chill values will continue to maintain between 10 and 20 degrees through Tuesday morning.
Temperatures will then rise during the day on Tuesday with a high near 42. The temperature is expected to drop to a low of 21 on Tuesday night, however; temperatures are expected to stay above freezing for the rest of the week with more spring type temperatures settling in by the weekend.
