FORT SMITH - The Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce is holding a meeting Thursday for new or prospective members who may want to know more about what benefits they will receive by joining the organization.

“Please join us for lunch on Thursday, November 30. This will be an opportunity to learn more about what comes with your membership, meet the staff and walk through the marketing opportunities that are available in 2018.” the Chamber said in an announcement. “Business Owners, Managers and Marketing Representatives are encouraged to attend.”

According to the announcement, some of the subject matter of the information session includes the following:

* The role of the Chamber in our Region
* How you can use the Chamber to promote your business
* Educational opportunities for Human Resources Personnel
* Recruitment resources
* The variety of events that the Chamber holds each year
* The variety of networking opportunities available

Who Should Attend?

* Those that have recently joined the Chamber
* Those that are thinking about joining the Chamber
* Those that have had a change in Leadership, Marketing or HR
* Those that want to learn more about how to promote their business

The meeting will be held in the Chamber Board Room at 612 Garrison Avenue from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The event is free to members, and $5.00 for non-members, who may pay online at the door. A lunch will be served to participants.
