“Congratulations to Olan James on winning Chamber Ambassador of the Month. Olan is employed by Western Arkansas Development Employment Agency, Inc., better known as WAEDA, and currently serves as the One Stop Operator for Western Arkansas.” the Chamber announced on Wednesday. “He has been in the role for approximately 4 months, and works closely with several agencies that support the workforce here in the area including the Adult Education Centers, Arkansas Rehabilitation Services and the Department of Workforce Services. He is looking forward to partnering with businesses to help bridge the gap between local employers and qualified job candidates. When he is not cheering on his nieces and nephews in their various sports endeavors, Olan can be found at the library trolling the stacks for a good book. He would like to wish everyone a blessed and happy holiday season filled with a renewed focus on faith, hope and love.”
