Bennie Bilyeu was born June 7, 1928, in Akins Community, Oklahoma, the son of Ben and Katie (Huckelby) Bilyeu. He was married to Maggie Faye Riggs on May 10, 1949 in Van Buren, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on August 1, 2002 in Vian, Oklahoma. Mr. Bilyeu passed this life on May 22, 2017 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, at the age of 88.
He leaves to mourn his passing one daughter, Delores Cheater of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; two sons, John Bilyeu of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, and Norvan Dale Bilyeu of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Katie Bilyeu; wife, Maggie Bilyeu; two daughters, Dorothy Nguyen and Ladonna Ridenour; and two sons, Bobby and Benny Bilyeu.
Graveside service is Thursday, May 25, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Seabolt Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home.
Viewing is Wednesday from 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
