FORT SMITH - The Fort Smith Fire Department battled a blaze that left two residents of a local apartment hospitalized. It happened at the West Apartments on 50th Street.
According to reports, firefighters responded to the incident around 6:00 PM, and were quickly able to contain the flames.
No cause was reported.
