FORT SMITH - The 5th Annual Peacemaker Festival, presented by Cox, is set to rock once again on July 26th and 27th.
The Peacemaker Festival is a music festival by created by music lovers for music lovers, set on the banks of the Arkansas River in Downtown Fort Smith at the beautiful Riverfront Amphitheater. Organizers blend the best country, rock, blues, red dirt and Americana acts touring today.
“The Peacemaker organization is comprised of a volunteer led team focused on giving proceeds back to local charities, the arts community and downtown development,” the organization said in a release. “Not to mention the fact that they just like to throw one heck of a party.”
This year’s festival will feature Turnpike Troubadours, Ryan Bingham, Josh Abbott Band, Lucero, North Mississippi Allstars, Samantha Fish, William Clark Green, Dylan Earl and JD Clayton.
“This is our fifth festival, but our first without our friend and mentor Bill Neumeier”, says Trent Goins, Festival Board Member. “We know he would be proud of this lineup. He is smiling down on us today.”
