LITTLE ROCK - The Arkansas Alcohol Beverage Commission has cited organizers of the Peacemaker Festival after attendees were reportedly seen not wearing masks or social distancing. The event took place Friday and Saturday.
State officials had approved the plan filed for the event earlier in the summer which was to require that masks were worn and that other measures such as temperature checks were put in place. Initial reports indicated that some 2,500 people were in attendance.
A fine is expected to be levied against organizers of the event.
Some 824 people across the state of Arkansas tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday.
