Fort Smith Trio Wounded In Nightclub Shooting

Fort Smith police say three people were taken to a local hospital after being shot outside a local music establishment. Officers responded to the Fort Smith Jazz and Blues Grill on North 10th Street early New Year’s Day according to a release.

A 38 year old black woman, a 33 year old black man, and a 43 year old black man were wounded in the incident. Sgt. Daniel Grubbs said the injuries were life threatening.

Law enforcement is on the lookout for a tall, slim black man with an afro hairstyle.
