Bulldogs, Tigers soar in Week 3 “Rex’s Rankings”

LITTLE ROCK - Writer and broadcaster Rex Nelson has announced his weekly “Rex’s Rankings”, as the Greenwood Bulldogs stay atop the Class 6A rankings following a 49-0 shutout of Fort Smith Southside Friday night. They move on to lock horns with the Alma Airedales this Friday night.

The Charleston Tigers remain at #3 in Class 3A, after a 42-6 rout of Little Rock Episcopal. They’ll take on rival Ozark this Friday night rounding out their non-conference schedule for the 2017 campaign.

Here are this week’s rankings by class. Nelson, who serves as the Senior Editor for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette announces his latest rankings each week on the Arkansas High School Scoreboard Show, heard locally on ESPN 95.3 FM each Friday from 10:00 PM to Midnight.
