FORT SMITH - Fort Smith Police have arrested 44-year-old Uno Saygnaphay in connection to reported B&Es at the 4400 block of Armour Ave. that occurred in the early morning hours of Tuesday (April 23). Saygnaphay was located hiding in the area by Patrol Officers after the call was received by Dispatch.
Saygnaphay was confronted by two of his intended victims while in-the-act. He produced a knife and threatened the two men. One of the men produced a firearm and fired two shots. Saygnaphay decided this would be a good time to flee.
Saygnaphay was arrested for Absconding, FTA, Burglary-Residential, and two counts of Aggravated Assault-Sharp Instrument.
