FORT SMITH - The World’s Largest Street Dance still belongs to a city far away, despite the best efforts of the Lip Dub Fort Smith organization. As part of the city of Fort Smith’s 200th Birthday Celebration, organizers tried to break the record of 253 dancers doing the same dance at the same time.
Unfortunately for our city, only 187 dancers showed up, but the event went on.
Lip Dub Fort Smith Executive Director Brad Randall told InsideFortSmith.Com last week that well above the record-setting number had signed up to take part in the festivities, but a large number of them did not keep their commitment on Monday morning.
