TULSA - The National Weather Service says that much of the Arkansas River Valley could be front and center for scattered thunderstorms today.

“Thunderstorm coverage will be a bit greater today as an upper level disturbance lifts north into the area,” Meteorologists said Monday morning. “The greatest aerial coverage of storms will be across northwest Arkansas and southeast Oklahoma during the afternoon. While severe weather chances remain low, a few storms may produce gusty winds.”
