FORT SMITH - Officials with the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office say that a nationwide search is underway for a sex offender from the Fort Smith area. Deputies began their quest to find 65-year-old Rodney Lee Moore this week, who has failed to register his whereabouts.
Moore is convicted of Rape and Kidnapping. According to the sheriff’s office, Moore forcibly abducted a woman, robbed her and forced her to engage in sexual contact. He’s also convicted of Aggravated Robbery against a woman for an incident that happened prior to the rape and kidnapping.
Moore is described as a white man with brown hair and hazel eyes. He’s 5’7″ tall and weighs 160 pounds.
