FAYETTEVILLE - The son of Arkansas’ Governor is facing a charge of driving while intoxication following his arrest on Monday morning along Interstate 49.
Asa Hutchinson III was taken into custody after state police stopped him for driving 88 miles per hour in a 70 mile per hour zone. The 42-year-old attorney will have an upcoming court date in West Fork to answer for the charge.
In addition to the DWI and speeding charges, Hutchinson will face a count of refusing a breathalyzer test.
A previous DWI charge against Hutchinson was thrown out on an appeal several years ago.
